The fabrication and erection of the steel structure for a multiplex involve creating a robust framework that serves as the backbone of the building. During fabrication, high-quality steel is processed into various components such as beams, columns, trusses, and braces. These components are cut, welded, and assembled with precision to meet the architectural and structural requirements of the multiplex.
The erection process begins once the steel components are transported to the construction site. Heavy machinery, including cranes, is used to lift and position the steel members, which are then bolted or welded together according to the structural design. The erection sequence is carefully planned to ensure the stability of the structure as it rises floor by floor. Temporary supports and bracings are used during this phase to maintain alignment and safety.
